What happened: The SDSM party headquarters located on Str. Butel, in the Municipality of Butel
was damaged. The premises were used in the election campaign of the candidate for Mayor of the
Municipality of Butel, Velimir Smilevski and the coalition councillor list.

affiliation or political conviction, and the bias indicators are:
1. Target location – the target location was the headquarters of a political party
2. Pattern of previous incidents – this incident was preceded by previous incidents from the previous
days, when the party headquarters of the political parties VMRO-DPMNE and SDSM were damaged in
several locations, i.e. around several municipalities around the City of Skopje.
Status of the case: Unknown.
Response of the local authorities: The MoI’s response to the MHC request for public information
regarding this incident stated that when the incident was reported the Crime Scene Investigation unit,
police officers from the PS in Chair photographed the crime scene and told the people responsible
for the headquarters to file a report, however the report was still not submitted by the time the MoI
sent its response.

political party and causes security concerns in the community it operates.
