What happened: A 17-year-old minor stabbed another 16-year-old minor with a knife in the chest.
The injured was given medical care at the “8-mi Septemvri” General Hospital where he was treated
for a bodily injury.
Date, time and location of the incident: 12 March, around 22:00, at a bus stop on “Partizanski Odredi”
Boulevard.

for buses transiting through areas inhabited by people of a different ethnicity, it is possible that the
ethnicity of the perpetrator is different from the ethnicity of the victim;
2. Nature of the violence – it was a public incident.

Response of Local Authorities: In MOI’s response to the Committee’s request for public information
regarding this incident, it is stated that SIA Skopje submitted a request for initiation of a misdemeanour
procedure to the Primary Court Skopje 1 Skopje − Misdemeanour Department on 24.03.2016.
