What happened: A group of fans of FC \u201cBudukjnost\u201d was attacked by a group of fans of FC \u201cVardar\u201d
\nwhile they were sitting in one of the caf\u00e9s on \u201cKej 13 November\u201d in Skopje. The mass fi ght took place in
\nGTC Skopje where a few store windows were broken. Fans hit each other with glass bottles, metal, and
\nother objects, after which the \u201cVarvari\u201d headed towards the \u201cHoliday Inn\u201d Hotel. In the incident, one of
\nthe fans from Skopje was more seriously injured, while two Montenegrin fans were less severely injured.<\/p>\n
Date, time and location of the incident: 21 February, at 17:15, on \u201cKej 13 Noemvri\u201d Street and GTC
\nSkopje.

\nVictim(s) involved: 3 persons, one of whom was a more severely injured fan from Skopje, while less
\nseverely injured were two fans from Montenegro
\nType of the crime(s): Violence (Article 386, CC), Participation in a fi ght (Article 132, CC), Heavy bodily
\ninjury (Article 131, CC), Bodily injury (Article 130, CC).
\nPerpetrator(s): An unknown number of fans of FC \u201cBudkjnost\u201d and FC \u201cVardar\u201d.
\nBrief description of the incident with bias indicators: In this incident which happened at a sporting
\nevent, the bias motive is ethnicity, nationality or language and bias indicators are:
\n1. Pattern of previous incidents \u2013 this incident was preceded by another one from the day before when
\nfans of FC \u201cBudukjnost\u201d participated in a fi ght with fans of FC \u201cShkendija\u201d;
\n2. Nature of violence \u2013 it was a public incident.<\/p>\n
Status of the case: Unknown (According to media reports, 23 fans of FC \u201cBudukjnost\u201d were detained
\nand fi ned).
\nResponse of Local Authorities: By the time of the writing of this report, MOI had not responded to
\nthe Committee\u2019s request for public information regarding this incident.
\nImpact on the victim(s) and the community: These types of incidents call into question the safety
