What happened: On 13 January 2018, a group of supporters of the basketball club \u201cShkupi\u201d, in the
\nsports hall \u201cShaban Trstena\u201d, in the Skopje residential area of Chair, hurt two policemen, one basketball
\nplayer and a technical manager of a club and also hit other players. According to the SIA Skopje, the
\nincident began at 19:20 hours, after the finish of the match between the basketball club \u201cShkupi\u201d and
\nthe basketball club \u201cPelister\u201d. From the stands where the fans of \u201cShkupi\u201d were seated, a firecracker was
\nthrown to the bench where the basketball players of \u201cPelister\u201d were sitting. They retaliated by throwing
\na plastic bottle full of water towards the fans.
\nThen the fans of the basketball club \u201cShkupi\u201d skipped over the fence between the stands and
\nstadium and attacked several of the \u201cPelister\u201d baskeball players, wherey the technical manager of the
\nclub and one of the players sustained injuries, along with two of the uniformed police officers.
\nA public prosecutor was immediately informed about the case.<\/p>\n
