What happened: On 02.06.2019, in the period between 8:10 and 11:50 p.m., in Skopje, on the \u201cMacedonia
\nSquare\u201d, a public gathering (celebration) took place to celebrate the victory of the Handball Club Vardar.
\nDuring the celebrations, it was reported that an Audi A3 vehicle, with Skopje licence plates, was damaged
\non the Goce Delcev Blvd. The vehicle was damaged by several individuals who threw becaton tiles on it.
\nDuring the incident, F.M. (18) suffered bodily injury. On 11ti Oktomvri Street, in front of the Assembly of
\nRNM, Chevrolet Spark vehicle, ownership of MOI, was also damaged. In relation to the incident, the Special
\nForces Alfa detained five minors, aged 14 to 17, all from Skopje.<\/p>\n

\n1. Ethnicity \u2013 while celebrating a Macedonian ethnic sports club, the fans chanted slogans against
\nthe Albanian community and damaged vehicles from Kosovo;
\n2. Location \u2013 similar incidents were previously registered on the \u201cMacedonia Square\u201d.<\/p>\n
Status of case: Closed.
\nResponse of the local authorities: The damaged decided not to press charges.
\nImpact on the victims and the community: These types of incidents call into question the general safety in
\nthe country and the co-existence among different ethnic groups in society, and reflect particularly poorly
