What happened: The Sector for Internal Affairs Bitola and the Cybercrime and Digital Forensics
\nDepartment at the Ministry of Interior, in coordination with the Primary Public Prosecutor\u2019s Office \u2013
\nBitola undertook measures and activities on grounds of a life-threatening post shared on the social
\nnetwork Facebook by O.J. (40) from Bitola, i.e. on grounds of a reasonable suspicion that the person
\ncommitted the crime of \u201cEndangering the Safety\u201d under Article 144 from the Criminal Code of the
\nRepublic North Macedonia.
\nOn 14 January 2019, the person \u041e.\u0408. was invited to an official conversation at a police station,
\nwhereupon, with the purpose of gathering evidence, several objects were also seized.
\nOn 28 January 2019, criminal charges were pressed to PPO Bitola against O.J. (40) from Bitola for
\nhaving committed the criminal offence \u201cEndangering the Safety\u201d under Article 144 from the CC of
\nRNM. MOI qualified the criminal offence as a hate crime.<\/p>\n
