What happened: On 29.07.2018, at 18:00 h, at the Sector of Internal Affairs, Skopje, Sh. Sh. (50), reported
\nthat on 28.07.2018, on \u201cRadishanska\u201d Street, an unknown perpetrator had scribbled graffiti with offensive and
\ninappropriate content on the front side of his house. The police are working to solve the case.<\/p>\n
Date, time and location of the incident: 29.07.2018, at 18:00, on \u201cRadishanska\u201d Street
\nSource of information: MoI\u2019s daily newsletter. A representative of the Helsinki Committee went to the
\nscene, but there were no visible graffiti (apart from one house \u2013 \u201cAleks Design\u201d, where there seemed to have
\nbeen some traces of fresh paint, and nearly unnoticeable traces of black graffiti), which is why we were not
\nable to take photo record of the event.
\nVictim(s) involved: Apart from material damage, there were no victims in this incident..
\nType of crime(s): Damage of Objects of Others (Article 243, CC).
\nPerpetrator(s): Unknown perpetrator
\nBrief description of the event with bias indicators: In this incident the bias motive is political affiliation
\nor political convictions, and the bias indicators are:
\n1. Pattern of previous incidents \u2013 incidents of graffiti with political or ethnic content, sprayed in public
\nspaces have previously been registered as well.<\/p>\n
Status of the case: Unknown.
\nResponse of the local authorities: By the time this report was finished, there was no response from MoI
\nto the request for information of public character that the Committee sent in relation to this incident. (We
\ngot a response from MoI in January 2019, they are working to fully clarify the case.)
